Blast From The Past

Came across this today on Vimeo, and boy did it bring back memories.  I can not believe how things have changed, and not changed at the same time.  Thank god my hair colour has changed, and I am NOT pregnant!  For the record, I just celebrated that 'baby's' 8th birthday this weekend....wow time flies when your having fun!~

These photos were taken for our Spring 2010 collection. I always loved this collection,and still wear so much of it.  I am telling ya, my go to summer sexy top is the rummer tee  (2nd photo) , and I don't think there has been a better drop crotch pant made! Ever!

 These photos we shot by Lise Varrette for our 2011 fall/winter collection, and are still some of my favourite shots ever. I remember we shot this during "snowmegedon'.  So much snow fell that day, that they closed the schools, offices and the airport.  But hey, that wasn't gonna stop us.  No no, we had a fashion shoot booked and no amount of snow would stop that!!

Oh It Goes So Fast

These shots always make me smile. I can just hear the girls laughing.  These photos were taken, by the very talented Beth Hayhurst for our spring summer 2009 me*me collection.  The super models are my daughter and 2 of her friends.  The girls played hookie that day from pre-school. Now all three of them are in grade 2, and have a unanimous decision that snow pants are no longer cool.  How did that happen??  I gotta say, it was a heck of a lot easier getting three 4 year old's ready for this shoot,  then it is getting one 7 year old ready for school on a minus 10 day!  And for the record, I would give my left arm, if Mimi would let me cut her hair like that again!

I just found this photo in our archives, it it made me realize how timeless our designs our.  This sweater, The Heather Cardigan was originally designed for our Fall/Winter 2008 collection.  The Heather Cardigan (with a few changes of course)  is part of the Roots by preloved collection, and was the best seller this week in our Toronto boutique. Go figure!
