  1. When I was around six years old I winged a play for my parents with all their Christmas decorations and sang/danced for them. To this day we look back and laugh about how cute it was.

  2. My favorite Christmas memory is gathering to act out and read the Christmas story...the "cast" has changed over the years, but it is always anticipated and enjoyed :)

  4. My favourite holiday memory would have to be the first winter holiday I spent in Canada, at the age of 3 (had just moved from Japan). After a huge snowfall, I ran out to play in the front yard, all decked out in my one-piece snowsuit. Holding my little red plastic bowl and spoon, I was content to spoon little chunks of snow into my bowl. Soon after, my 6-year-old next door neighbour came out to play as well, equipped with a sand bucket and shovel. I was so intrigued. She offered to let me use her more sophisticated tools, and from that moment on, I always looked forward to playing outside with her!

  5. My favourite holiday family celebration during the holidays was when everyone joined a jam session, young and old. Guitars, banjos, djembe drums. We all played together and sang songs.

  6. My favourite holiday memory was on Christmas day five years ago. I took a pregnancy test in the morning and discovered I was pregnant which was the best gift ever. The incredible look of joy on my husband's face will forever be cherished. Ever since then, each year we enjoy the holidays and make new memories with our lovely daughter.

  7. This would be great! I would keep them all for myself, one for each month of winter lol!
But my most memorable Christmas is when my dad came. This is the first Christmas he had ever spent with the whole family since my parents divorced. He met grandkids he never knew. He saw his kids, grown up. He met son in laws, daughter in laws. It was quite the visit, shane we haven't seen him since.

  8. My most favourite Christmas memory is more of a tradition. We would gather around the fireplace on Christmas Eve and read Christmas stories until our eyelids grew heavy. We would leave carrots for Rudolph and cookies for Santa. I will be starting this with my two year old daughter today!

  9. My favourite Christmas memory is the year that my brother, sister and I snuck walkie talkies into our rooms so we could communicate late into the night and in the early morning as we anticipated getting up and experiencing the magic of Christmas. We counted down the minutes to 7 am over the walkie talkies and shook with excitement. I think this is also the year we plotted and woke our parents up with a wind chime from the garage...

  10. I loved Christmas when I was a child as all children do. My favourite memory was when my dad bought my mom a well-needed winter coat she'd liked in the store. When she put the coat on, she put her hands into her pocket to find a small box. The surprised look on her face when she saw that it was a beautiful diamond ring was something I will never foget! There wasn't much money when were growing up so this was something very special! It mad our Christmas!!
