What happens in Vegas....

DONE! First stop on the crazy ride of selling our fall 2013 collection is officially over! What a successful trip this has been. So great to see some of our favourite clients, and always a pleasure to meet new fans of preloved  Ashley and I have had a ball this week. And as fun as Vegas is ( even on this 14th trip of mine!) There is nothing like getting on that red eye, knowing when you wake up, you will be back home....even if it is only for 48 hours.....NYC here we come!!!

And we are off

Well the suitcases are packed, the posters are ready, and we still have over 24 hours till we get on the plane, headed for Vegas.  The beginning of the trade show circuit, for our Fall/Winter 2013 collection. I can't believe we have pulled this off.  As I said in the design meeting we always seem to do it.  I had my doubts this season, but no more.  The collection has never looked better, and I can't wait to show it off!!  With all this work, the only thing I didn't seem to have time to do before Vegas, is get my nails done!  I tell ya the stress I have in my life!

EAT.SHOP.PLAY

 EAT: my favourite restaurant is in Vegas , Le Cave in the Wynn Hotel.  One trip to Vegas, Peter and I ate there every night.  

PLAY: Quad Spin Doesn't matter if it's east, west, or King street,  I have to make at least 3 classes a week, just to keep my head above water.  

SHOP: My favourite shop is Lileo in the distillery district.  One of the most inspiring places!

DIY with Leah Miller

Along with all the madness in the preloved studio these days, we also had a visit from the very talented Leah Miller, and the E! team.  I had the pleasure of teaching Leah how to make a scarf from old sweaters.  Leah as usual, is so fun to work with, a breath of fresh air, and a much needed diversion from our fall 2013 collection   Thanks Leah!  Make sure you check out LIVE WITH LEAH ,on E! online and see how this beautiful scarf turns out.

Every year, the month of February hits me like a ton of bricks.  You would think I would be ready for it by now, but no matter how hard we prepare for it, this February  is always  more overwhelming than the last one..  It is the one month of the year, when three seasons hit us at once. - we ship out spring 2013 collection, we begin the ride of selling our fall 2013 collection , and our annual warehouse sale,wraps up sales for Fall 2012. All this in a month with 28 days!..man I love a leap year!
