me*me by preloved

I have been totally inspired by kids fashions.  I had a ball working with The Steven and Chris Show,(air date April 4th),  going over spring 2013 trends for kids, that it has got me thinking about our me*me by preloved line. We  haven't carried it in our boutique for a few seasons. Now that the wholesale side of the business is at the forefront, fun little things for our store and online boutique have taken a bit of a back seat.  BUT no more my friends. Look for new me*me by preloved, and other great finds coming to preloved and in store soon.

EAT. PLAY. SHOP

EAT: My favourite place to eat at the moment is Hanoi 3 Seasons. A Thai food restaurant with the ultimate avocado smoothie!

PLAY: I go to the West End YMCA on a daily basis. It's the best gym in the city and they have great yoga classes!

SHOP: Article 27: Innovative Organics is my favourite shop in the city right now. There focus is on organic, quality skin care and body products. My favourite product from them right now is this men's face scrub and mask by 66-30.

Spring Trends for Kids

I had the honour of taping another episode of the Steven and Chris show last week.  This time the focus was spring trends for kids.  So fun.  The kids were great to work with, and all preformed perfectly.  Well, my little Scotty did get a bit camera shy ( too say the least) .  Who would think a guy who can dance Gangnam Style naked, would clam up in front of a live audience!...maybe it was the military outfit!

Final Fit

Another check mark, on the 'complete fall 2013 list' is done.  We had our final fit meeting last week, and things went off with out a hitch.! I am telling ya, our fittings use to take us forever.  Peter would want it one way, I would think it should be the other, Ashley would never wear it that way, Lexie needs it be tighter, and Yuko at some point would lose her mind trying to record all these changes.  I am not sure what has changed, but man we whipped through this collection. Everything seem to fit perfectly and no major arguments. I think the only person disappointed in our new efficient fit meetings, would be Karen our fit model. Her half day booking turned into less than an hour!

Spring Trending

The warm weather is just around the corner (we hope)! And we've got the scope on what's in for Spring 2013.  We were on the Steven and Chris show this past week featuring our incredible spring collection.  We were so happy to be apart of the show and Steven and Chris were a blast! I talk Hawaiian prints and stripes. Featuring the wonderful preloved staff.....Thanks guys!

Steven and Chris

We had a great day yesterday shooting for the Steven and Chris show.  Spring 2013 trends with preloved.  The beautiful staff at preloved, preformed perfectly as super models! Although I have to say I was a bit nervous when Yuko realized there was a live audience!  I think I forgot to mention that when I sweet talked my staff into doing the show.  But all went well.  Everyone looked gorgeous, we had an absolute ball, and Steven and Chris are as funny in person as they are on TV.  Tune into the CBC on March 15th at 2:00pm to watch the episode.

Spring 2013

Well it's here, at least in the store, it's Spring!  I guess officially it doesn't start till March 21st, but we can't wait that long to get this incredible collection on the floor and online. It was so fun to make this collection. We have reinvented ourselves, yet again, by incorporating new fabrics, with the much loved vintage fabrics.  Creating a collection to die for.  Our fave combination is the paring of  bold vintage Hawaiian prints, with bright new fabrics-our take of 'Big Island' inspired spring looks....ALOHA!
